1. Who the Site is for

The Site is for businesses and the people who act for them. You must be at least 18 to use it. If you use the Site for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

2. Our services and pricing

• Information, not offers. Plans, prices and descriptions on the Site are information, not an offer we must accept.
  • Plans: Launch, Growth and System; Care and Care Plus; add-ons.
  • Paid work starts only after both of us sign a Service Agreement. That agreement then controls.

• The $0-down subscription has a 12-month minimum term. Your site and design files become yours once the term is paid, or earlier if you pay the early buyout amount.

• Changes. We may change prices or plans at any time. Changes do not affect a signed Service Agreement during its term, except as that agreement allows.

3. Free previews and website reviews

• No obligation. A free concept preview and website review costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We will never charge you for one.
• What a preview is. It is a design concept, not a finished or live website. It is private, not indexed by search engines, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the business it is prepared for.
  • It uses licensed stock photos and sample text, which are labelled.
  • Its forms and buttons do not send anything.
  • Business details come only from public sources. Items marked "sample" need your confirmation.
• Who owns what.
  • The concept design, layout, code and copy belong to Steadline unless you buy a plan.
  • The written review is yours to keep and share.
  • Your business name, phone number and other details stay yours. We use them only to show you the concept.
• Accuracy. Reviews are based on a single automated load of your homepage, plus public listings, on the date shown. Automated checks can miss things. If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
• Removal. You can ask us at any time to take down a preview and delete your business's information. We do it within 10 business days, usually sooner. We keep only what we need to avoid contacting you again.

4. Using the Site

You agree not to:

• (a) copy, scrape or republish the Site's content or designs, except to share your own preview or review with people who work for you;
• (b) try to access previews not meant for you, or get around security or access controls;
• (c) send false information, or information you have no right to share, through our forms;
• (d) interfere with the Site, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend access to the Site for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Our content

• The Site and its content belong to Steadline or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes text, designs, code, demo concepts, graphics and the Steadline name and logo.
• You may view the Site for your own business purposes. No other licence is granted.
• Demo concepts on the Site are for fictional companies, built to show our work. Any resemblance to a real business is unintended. If you think a demo looks like your business, tell us and we will change it.
• Stock photos on the Site are used under their own licences, such as the Unsplash License.

6. What you send us

You keep ownership of anything you send us, such as photos, logos or text. You give Steadline permission to use it only to prepare your preview, reply to you and, if you become a client, provide the services. You confirm that you have the right to share it.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site uses, or links to, third-party services such as hosting, fonts, payment processing and the sources we cite. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Privacy and email

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Every marketing email we send:

• identifies us and gives our postal address;
• explains how to opt out.

We honor opt-outs within 10 business days.

9. No guarantees

The Site, previews and reviews are provided "as is" and "as available." As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee any particular result from a website or from our services. This includes search rankings, traffic, calls, leads, reviews or revenue. Statistics on the Site are shown for context and are sourced where shown.

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows:

• Steadline is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site, free previews or free reviews is limited to US $100.

Paid services are governed by the liability terms in the Service Agreement.

11. Indemnity
